Lists for Life

Why Lists?

  • I noticed that the most populate blog posts are often list posts.
  • I’ll be honest I usually read only the headline bits in list posts as you get the ‘gist from the list’.
  • As a blogger without a natural ability to churn out paragraphs of exception proses, lists make it easy for me. Easy is good.
  • Everyone feels comfortable with lists.
  • People are time poor and knowledge hungry. Lists work well in this situation.
  • I, the blogger, like lists (I keep lots of them).
  • I tend to think in lists.
  • Lists are productive and geeky.
  • People tend to naturally read all of a list (see you are still reading this list aren’t you), whereas not everything in a paragraph.

What do you think?

I like it. Keep going. It’s an original idea to write posts that are only lists.

I have already subscribed to your feed.

I like this. I came over from you lifestyle project site. I’ve been a list keeper for many years and this site is a great idea. Are others going to contribute lists, or are these your collection? I’m signing up to follow.
