List of Most Popular Lists
- I am aware I haven’t posted a list for a while, I’ve been busy over at Lifestyle Project.
- I did put an offer out on twitter for someone to take over the site, but unfortunately got no response.
- I still get quite a few page view on this site (for something I don’t actively promote).
- Thought you might find the rankings interesting.
- Interesting to see what topics are more popular.
- I am looking for more guest list submissions if you are interested, drop me a line.
- Thanks for continuing to visit!

- Needs a title (with or without number accordingly).
- No introduction (title should cover that).
- It will have a sentence saying something like “This is a Guest List from X from Y Blog (let me know the name format and link you want).
- Should be a bulleted or numbered lists.
- Each point on the list should be one sentence max or less (if a point needs a tiny explanation put it in brackets like this).
- Number of points up-to-you.
- List topic can be anything really but obviously should come broadly under one of the main categories of the blog if possible.
- Can have one sentence question after list to encourage comments.
- I might choose consult with you about any modifications to the list.
- If there is a particular date you want the post to appear let me know and I’ll see if I can accommodate.
- Any questions just ask.

Why Lists?
- I noticed that the most populate blog posts are often list posts.
- I’ll be honest I usually read only the headline bits in list posts as you get the ‘gist from the list’.
- As a blogger without a natural ability to churn out paragraphs of exception proses, lists make it easy for me. Easy is good.
- Everyone feels comfortable with lists.
- People are time poor and knowledge hungry. Lists work well in this situation.
- I, the blogger, like lists (I keep lots of them).
- I tend to think in lists.
- Lists are productive and geeky.
- People tend to naturally read all of a list (see you are still reading this list aren’t you), whereas not everything in a paragraph.
What do you think?
